About the Club
GKT Women’s Football Club is a community of 100 women across three competitive teams and one recreational team, united by our passion for the game and strong team spirit We compete in BUCS and LUSL leagues, with our 1st team achieving promotion last season, and represent GKT at annual university wide competitions. Alongside competitive football, we prioritise inclusion and wellbeing through weekly socials, fortnightly sober wellbeing events, strength & conditioning sessions and team potluck dinners. Our members are from a diverse range of backgrounds, including many international students, so we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where everyone can build friendships and feel part of something bigger. We are also active on Instagram and TikTok, giving sponsors the opportunity to connect with an engaged student audience while supporting the continued growth of women’s football.
